I hate small talk. I hate it. Years in the business world required me to be able to master it with clients. But I hated every moment of it. My preference in communication is to get to the important stuff quickly and skip past the fluff.

I’ve considered myself to always be a student. There is something exciting about learning something new. Whatever it is. But the process that I choose can make the effort grueling or a fun adventure.
I’ve read Love Minus Eighty by Will McIntosh three or four times now. I think I’m just a softy when it comes to romance, science fiction and strong characters.
Walking by the water is good energy so I try to get down to the Edmonds waterfront whenever I can to stretch my legs. It’s also a good way for me to work through sections of the book with which I’m struggling.
